Sure, she's gorgeous, but Abha Mathur is no-nonsense: she is tougher than any man under her command (or above her rank); she doesn't engage in singing & dancing; she isn't mooning over any man; and she does not--even once--stand in front of any damned wind machine.
Such a role is rare even here in the U.S., and I'm sure Priyanka Chopra's leading tough-guy madam-sir role owes a lot to her success as a TV star in Quantico.

One of the more memorable super villains here has an amazingly-long, luridly-flexible tongue.

Loved the physical humor, the more-subtle approach, and the fact they actually stuck with the same story after the intermission.
Of course, my eyes are still rolling over the handy way they dispatched with the inconvenient love triangle.

What I love most about this movie is the bouncy music, bright color & joyful cheesiness; the filmmakers really put a lot into delivering a movie-lover's version of the retro eras depicted.
What makes me most sad is that--and this is based upon the fact the three stories take place a mere 50 years apart--our first two sets of protagonists must have died horribly young!

Don 2 is a good sequel, & a good action film.
You could kind of call it Oceans: Impossible.

Hot twins, cocaine, bloodbaths, dancers in condom hats, and unprotected premarital sex--yup, just another day in Bollywood!
Lots of style, even a little substance in there somewhere, and at a mere 135 minutes, it's short enough to be a good starter film for the uninitiated.
