Bajrangi Bhaijaan

A mute Pakistani girl is lost & alone & India--wouldn't it be refreshing if she were still at least one of these things by film's end?
Bollywood just doesn't work that way, but the ride is a fun one, even with a song containing the oft-repeated line, "let's take a selfie."

Ek Tha Tiger

Makes at least as much sense as any other action/spy movie, even setting itself up for possible sequels.

Not sure how much it does for India/Pakistan relations, though.

New York

Bollywood gets quite serious & thoughtful--without losing any style--as it contemplates being brown in the U.S. post-9/11, with one take on how a non-terrorist may become a terrorist.

And of course, dependably as always, all of the white actors are just plain awful.
