I get that they're spending a year with soldiers stationed at "the most dangerous place on earth," but I don't get-- whatever it is they want us to get.

The impression with which I was left was that everyone, including the leader, was inexperienced & unprepared, and that we're all best off far away from there.

A non-stop jerky camera does nothing to replace actual direction.

Early on in the movie, a character says, "this is a disaster"-- I should have taken his advice & left right then.

For Army explosives teams in Iraq, IEDs leave damage back home as well as in the field.

It would be funny to call this film a bomb, but quite the opposite is true.
