Pawn Sacrifice



The movie experience was like watching people playing chess--heavily-made-up people playing chess.

Tobey Maguire was fine, I guess (in a very Tobey Maguirey kinda way), but who I really would have loved seeing tackle this role: Andrew Garfield.

Taking Woodstock


I suppose the real Woodstock may well have left its attendees the same way I felt on my way out of "Taking Woodstock."

That is to say, happy & somewhat content, but in a fog as to exactly what just happened and what it was all about.
