My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2

I never saw the original, but this movie stars a cast of unknowns who apparently all made one movie about 15 years ago.

The one other group of people in my screening were laughing so hard, I figured they were either: a) Greek; or, like me, seeing the parallels to The Addams Family.

Hot Tub Time Machine

I expected it to be profane and hilarious.

More like profane and mildly amusing -- such a letdown.

White on Rice

The title may falsely suggest a sociological examination of dating habits, but this is a full-on mainstream comedy: sort of a "How Jimmy's Family Got Their Groove Back."

Silly, funny, sometimes shocking, and definitely worth the drive.

Julie & Julia was fun from beginning to end--and thus a real bore to write about.
